Rider Alert: LA Union Station Construction Project Impacts Thruway Bus Bay Access
Effective May 22 through June 28, 2023
Attention Amtrak Thruway Bus Customers
Due to a construction project taking place at Los Angeles Union Station, the Thruway Bus Bays will not be accessible beginning May 22 through June 28, as described below:
Allow Extra Time
Please allow extra time getting in and around the station and expect periodic traffic congestion.
- Thruway Buses will be temporarily relocated from the station bus bays. Buses will load and unload at the west end of the depot in front of the Fred Harvey House/Homebound Brewing Co.
- The waiting room lobby will be open.
- Ticketed bus passengers should gather in the lobby to be led by station personnel to the loading area. Red Cap assistance will be available.
