LA Pride in the Park

The largest Pride music event in the country, LA Pride in the Park, will expand this year to a two-day extravaganza, taking place at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10. Global superstars and GRAMMY Award-winning queens Megan Thee Stallion and Mariah Carey are headlining Friday and Saturday, respectively. The festival will also feature an array of local vendors and LGBTQ+ exhibitors, an ample sober space, sponsor giveaways, and the new Trans Galleria, highlighting the art and creativity of the LA trans community.

Single-day and weekend passes are now on sale at the LA Pride website. VIP tickets include expedited entry, front-of-stage viewing area, VIP lounge, private bars and restrooms, and elevated food offerings.

 

Directions: From Union Station in Downtown LA, walk less than a mile heading north on Spring St. to the park.

PRIDE MONTH ARTISAN MARKET AT THE BLOC

700 S. Flower St, Los Angeles, CA 90017 | Every Saturday in June 2023

Located at The Bloc in Downtown LA, the DTLA Proud A+R=T Community Center focuses on "Accessibility and Representation to help our community Thrive!" The Center features an art gallery, queer marketplace, community room and co-working space; and offers all-ages programming, workshops, pop-up retail space and event venue opportunities. To celebrate Pride Month, DTLA Proud and The Bloc present an Artisan Market every Saturday in June to support LGBTQ+ small business owners. SAN FRANCISCO LGBTQ+ PRIDE 2023

Market Street from Embarcadero to the Celebration at Civic Center, San Francisco, CA, 94102 | June 24th - June 25th

San Francisco Pride, held annually in June, is a vibrant and inclusive celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and rights. Festivities begin on Saturday, June 24, and the Pride Parade will be on June 25th, going down Market Street from Embarcadero to the Celebration at Civic Center. The event showcases a colorful parade that winds through the city streets, with extravagant floats, lively music, and participants adorned in vibrant costumes. There will also be live performances, drag shows, dance parties, and educational workshops that promote diversity, equality, and acceptance.

Directions: Amtrak San Joaquins riders arriving at the Emeryville Station can take the Amtrak Thruway Bus to San Francisco Transbay Terminal, walk five minutes to the Montgomery BART Station, and take the Red or Yellow BART line to Civic Center. Amtrak San Joaquins riders arriving at Jack London Square may take a short walk to Lake Merritt BART Station and follow the Blue or Green BART lines to Civic Center. 

OAKLAND BLACK PRIDE FESTIVAL 2023

Celebrate Black Pride in Oakland at Oakland’s Black Pride Festival from Wednesday, June 28, to Sunday, July 2. The festival begins on the evening of Wednesday, June 28th, with Breaking Bread: A Benefit Dinner featuring food prepared by Chef Preeti Mistry from Top Chef season six, located at Forage Kitchen in Oakland. All proceeds from this dinner will benefit Oakland Black Pride, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ communities. The third annual Oakland Black Pride Festival is on Saturday, July 1st, from 12:00 to 6:00 pm. This Queer Expo will feature over 50 vendors, including BIPOC makers, crafters, artists, entrepreneurs, food vendors, non-profit partners, DJs, local performers, and more.

SACPRIDE 2023
