Imagine Yosemite's magnificent waterfalls, granite formations, glaciers, river rocks smoothed by the rushing river waters, hot springs, fragrant wildflowers and the stirring sounds of wildlife, all bundled up into one beautiful spa experience. Take the crew or go solo for a rejuvenating experience.

Butterfly Creek Winery and Vineyards is set on 200 acres adjoining the Sierra Foothills, yet only 45 minutes driving time from the borders of Yosemite National Park. When visiting the winery, plan a picnic lunch next to their own bubbling "Butterfly Creek."

Ice Skating at Curry Village

Open daily through March 2022 (conditions permitting)

Since 1928, visitors have enjoyed ice skating in Yosemite National Park. The Curry Village Ice Rink is a spectacular family-friendly outdoor skating rink in the heart of Yosemite Valley. In addition to ice skating, you can enjoy a cozy fire pit and views of Half Dome. What are you waiting for?

YOSEMITE MUSEUM AND INDIAN VILLAGE

While most people only think of Yosemite's natural wonders, the Sierra Nevada region in and around Yosemite has been inhabited by native people for more than 3,000 years. You can learn all about the first peoples of the valley at the Yosemite Museum and Indian Village. The museum displays artifacts, and docents are on hand to give demonstrations and answer questions. Behind the building are some bark-covered dwellings, built in the traditional style used by the Miwok people who once lived in the area, as well as their later, Euro-American-style buildings. The museum is free and conveniently located in Yosemite Village.
