Built with a nearly $100 million investment by Siemens Mobility, the new Amtrak San Joaquins rail cars were designed to be more comfortable, safer and ADA friendly with greater accessibility for all. Not only has the production of the new rail cars bolstered our economy through job creation, but with high-speed capacity, more storage, larger workstations and luxury seating, the new rail cars bring economic support, a better passenger experience and improved rail connectivity.
