The event is free and open to the public, and community members are encouraged to participate in painting their messages of love and art on a huge canvas in the plaza near Plank. A family tradition since 2002! Join the annual two-mile and 5K runs for all ages at Fresno’s gorgeous Woodward Park. As part of your registration, you will get the chance to tour what is possibly the most romantic place in Fresno—the Shinzen Friendship Garden. Run participants may tour the garden after the run. Admission is free, donations to the garden are accepted. Come tour the peace and beauty of Shinzen and the Clark Bonsai Collection. With landscape views at every turn of the path, your stroll along the walkways is a pleasant and rewarding experience. Register for the run and be sure to order an Uber or Lyft in advance to get to the run on time.
