River Park Farmers Market (Fresno)

The River Park Farmers Market has been Fresno's favorite certified farmers market for more than 20 years. Celebrate the amazing bounty of the Central Valley and the hard work of the farmers that make it all possible. The Vineyard Farmers Market (Fresno)

Celebrating 41 years of fresh produce, the Vineyard Farmers Market provides the finest quality, locally-grown fruits and vegetables direct from the grower and is dedicated to providing your family with a healthy grocery experience year-round. The market is located in a beautiful structure designed by Christopher Alexander, Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the UC Berkeley, and made of redwood arched trusses and concrete columns. A floor of grey concrete with blue concrete ornaments, let into the slab, form an endless pattern. See for yourself!

This year-round market may be small but the prices are right and the fresh options make every booth worth checking. Just steps away from the Richmond Civic Center Plaza, after purchasing your produce, stop by Kim's Louisiana Fried Turkey and Stuff booth for a Thanksgiving delicacy anytime of the year!

F Street Farmers Market (Bakersfield)

As Bakersfield's longest running certified farmers market, F Street features fresh fruits and vegetables, pork, honey, handmade soaps, baked goods, dog treats, jams, jellies, and more! Vendors accept cash, card, and EBT Snap providing access to healthy food for all.

Merced Certified Farmers Market (Merced)

"The Original" Merced Certified Farmers' Market has been around since 1980, offering a bountiful variety of fresh, locally-grown produce, nuts, and more. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the many different, delicious foods grown and harvested in and around Merced County. Just ask about the foods you see and you'll get your answers straight from the source-the farmers who actually grow what they sell.

 

Sunday Farmers Markets

Jack London Square Farmers Market (Oakland)
Embarcadero West and Franklin Street
9am to 2pm

 

After departing the Amtrak San Joaquins' Oakland station, head towards the waterfront for a short walk along the San Francisco Bay Trail passing by restaurants, shops, and activity centers like California Canoe & Kayak at Jack London Square. This market is packed with a variety of vendors including a florist, clothiers, a bakery, and other shops that will have you staying for a while. After the market, spend some time walking around Jack London Square and be sure to try the wine at Rosenblum Cellars, revisit everyone's favorite decade at 90s Experience, or just enjoy the views across the bay. 

 

Martinez Farmers Market (Martinez)
700 Main Street
9am to 2pm

 

This market has a plethora of quality choices including organic veggie wholesalers, florists, and other vendors. After picking up your kale, potatoes, summer squash, and other veggies, explore the city's various destinations within walking distance of Amtrak Martinez station including the serene Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline Park and the Franklin Ridge Loop Trail where you can see beautiful views of the Carquinez straits, Carquinez and Benicia Bridges, sailboats, and other vessels.
