San Francisco

 

Frameline45, June 1 - June 27 -- The 45th San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, the longest-running, largest and most widely recognized LGBTQ+ film exhibition event in the world is running now through June 27. Slated to be the largest and most attended festival in Frameline history, the 17-day festival features a hybrid of in-person and virtual offerings, including four drive-in screenings and over 50 virtual film screenings. In addition, in-person screenings return to Frameline with a series of special screenings at San Francisco's historic Castro Theatre and Roxy Theater. 

 

San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus Concert, June 24 at 6 p.m. -- This Pride, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC) presents WIRED, an all-virtual extravaganza celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Packed with exciting performances, WIRED will feature uplifting videos from Chorus members and SFGMC friends, world premieres including the hilarious and pointed "Message from the Gay Community," and "28 Barbary Lane" from the musical "@queerz." WIRED will stream on SFGMC's YouTube and Facebook pages on Thursday, June 24 at 6 p.m.

 

Visit The Pink Triangle, June 1 - June 30 - The Pink Triangle has been installed atop Twin Peaks in San Francisco for each Pride weekend since 1996. This annual display is almost 200 feet across, nearly an acre in size, and can be seen for 20 miles, serving to educate others about the hatred of the past to help prevent it from happening again.
