(October 14, Stockton, CA) – Beginning on October 18th, Amtrak San Joaquins will restore the service’s 6th round-trip, which includes train connections between Sacramento and Bakersfield. In addition to implementing reinstated train service between Stockton and Sacramento, Amtrak San Joaquins will also be updating several Thruway Bus routes throughout its network.

Additionally, the provisions of SB 742 will be implemented on Route 1c, which was authored by Senator Ben Allen of Santa Monica, allowing the service to sell bus-only tickets for bus pairs along the route – including those to/from Santa Monica.
