Dave's Pumpkin Spiked Harvest Hoedown 2022

Dave’s Pumpkin Patch, 3010 Burrows Avenue, West Sacramento | Friday, October 7, 2022 | 5:00 PM PDT - 9:00 PM PDT

Here’s something the whole family can enjoy! Dave’s Pumpkin Patch will host their annual Spiked Harvest Hoedown on Friday, October 7th. Enjoy a great barbeque, provided by Xochilico Mexican Restaurant, like music, and drinks the adults can enjoy. Admission for this event starts at $18 and includes entrance to the carnival, corn maze, jumping pillow, and movie night! Ready for a thrilling adventure with the dark and mysterious? Under the black and red big top tent is a world of acrobats, illusionists, mysterious creatures, and the elements that make one question the normality of a circus. This new spectacular vision of the paranormal allows audiences to be transported into a world of incredible circus art activities. Directions: Once Amtrak Riders arrive at the Antioch-Pittsburg station they can take a quick 4-minute Lyft or Uber ride to the Contra Costa Event Center. If riders prefer walking it is a nice 20-minute walk from the Anitoch-Pittsburg Station. Head west toward L Street, turn left onto L Street, turn left onto West 10th Street, take a sharp right onto West 10th Street, finally turn left onto O street and the Contra Costa Event Space will be on the left.

Spirit and Soul Festival

Autumn Lights Festival

Art and nature enthusiasts from all over the region will flock to Oakland's Lake Merritt to immerse themselves in the 11th Annual Autumn Lights Festival, a one-of-a-kind interactive art experience that is always the talk of the town. You’re invited to celebrate the 11th Annual festival in-person over three spectacular nights October 13-15, 2022. 

Prepare to be dazzled, mesmerized and amazed at this magical benefit for the non-profit Friends of the Gardens at Lake Merritt where you will experience 60+ locally-produced illuminated art displays sparkling and beaming throughout Oakland’s beloved eight-acre municipal gardens.

Directions: After arriving at Oakland Jack London Square Amtrak Station, hop on the AC Transit 12 bus and ride 14 minutes to the Gardens. Or, take a rideshare from the station for about a 10-minute ride.

Zombie Brew Crawl

Downtown Martinez | Main St Martinez, CA 94553 | Saturday, October 15 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM PDT

Join the ranks of the un-dead for this year’s annual Zombie Brew Crawl! Zombies will be walking the downtown corridor of Martinez while sampling craft beers from 30+ participating breweries. Wear your best zombie costume (optional but encouraged!) and get a chance to win cash prizes for best group and individual costumes.

Raisin Hell Ranch

The LoMac Pumpkin Patch takes picking your pumpkin to a whole other level, literally. Rather than a conventional pumpkin patch, LoMac leaves their pumpkins on the vine, giving you a chance to pluck your pumpkin of choice right off the vine. Keep in mind, things might get a little messy while frolicking through the pumpkin vines so dress accordingly and opt for shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirt on. Don’t wait, book your trip before the season ends! 

Entry is $5 per person and children 3 and under are free; they accept cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 

Directions: Once Amtrak riders arrive at the Fresno Station, they can take a quick 15 minute ride via rideshare to the LoMac Pumpkin Patch.
