Celebrate and Honor the legacy of Cesar Chavez

March 25, 2022

Join us as we celebrate the legacy of California-based Civil Rights icon, Cesar Chavez.er. Advocating for better wages and safer working conditions for agricultural workers, Chavez defined a generation and improved the lives of countless individuals in California and across the nation. Turning advocacy into action, Chavez co-founded the National Farm Workers Association along with Dolores Huerta in 1962, achieving landmark victories throughout the 1960s and ’70s. Join Amtrak San Joaquins as we highlight local events throughout the corridor to celebrate Cesar Chavez’s legacy.
