Join us as we celebrate the legacy of California-based Civil Rights icon, Cesar Chavez.er. Advocating for better wages and safer working conditions for agricultural workers, Chavez defined a generation and improved the lives of countless individuals in California and across the nation. Turning advocacy into action, Chavez co-founded the National Farm Workers Association along with Dolores Huerta in 1962, achieving landmark victories throughout the 1960s and '70s.
