Aftershock Festival

Start your Aftershock adventure on the train!

California’s largest rock music festival, Aftershock, is taking over Sacramento from Friday, October 11th – Sunday, October 13th at Discovery Park. This year’s event will be welcoming more than 90,000 attendees along with performances from top acts and up-and-coming bands from across the rock music spectrum. Enjoy sets from artists like Tool, blink-182, Slipknot, Staind, A Day to Remember, Bring me the Horizon, Lamb of God, BABYMETAL, and so many more.

Aftershock is the perfect time to travel with Amtrak San Joaquins! Festival goers can receive 30% off their Amtrak San Joaquin ticket using promotional code V526. Begin your weekend fun with ease on the train and avoid the freeway traffic. Enjoy free Wi-Fi, snacks and alcoholic beverages, and did we mention comfortable seating?! Event parking is extremely limited and not allowed at Discovery Park or in nearby neighborhoods during the festival. Take the hassle out of your travel and make it easy. After rocking out all weekend long, hop on a train and enjoy the relaxing ride home. Maybe even catch up on your Z’s. Trains run throughout the day and all weekend long.

Festival goers are dropped off at the downtown Sacramento Valley Station, two-miles from Discovery Park, and conveniently blocks away from hotels, restaurants, and bars. Once in downtown Sacramento, Aftershock attendees are encouraged to take a ride shuttle, rideshares/taxi, or shared-rideables (jump bikes or scooters) to and from the festival.

The Aftershock festival gates open at 12pm on Friday and Saturday and 11:30am on Sunday where attendees can enjoy a variety of local and regional food and beverage offerings like Spicy Pie Pizza, Buckhorn BBQ, Sacramento food trucks, amongst other food experiences. Weekend and single day tickets are still available and start at $82.01 for a single day pass. To purchase tickets, view a list of performers, or for more information about the music festival, visit
