Effective May 16, 2024 - July 27, 2025

Attention Amtrak San Joaquins Passengers

Amtrak’s Madera station is scheduled to be relocated by mid-2025 due to California High-Speed Rail work. The station relocation is in Phase 1 currently, which will require detours to access the current station location at 18770 Rd 26 in Madera, CA 93638.

Due to on-going construction, customers should anticipate delays.

Road Closures

  • Passengers driving to the station will encounter multiple detours from SR 99 by using Ave 17 (EB), then Lake St/Rd 27 (NB), and Club Dr (WB) to access the station via Rd 26 (detour signage is available along this route).
  • Passengers are encouraged to allow an additional 30 minutes to arrive at the station before trains or connecting services depart.
