Rider Alert: Bridge Work Affecting San Joaquins Service

Effective Friday and Saturday February 2-3, 2024

Attention Amtrak San Joaquins Customers

 

Bridge work being performed by BNSF Railway will affect San Joaquins service on Friday and Saturday, February 2 and 3, as described below. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

 

Northbound – Saturday, February 3

  • Trains 711, 713, 715, and 717, which normally operate between Bakersfield and Oakland Jack London Square, will originate at Fresno.
  • Buses 4311, 4313, 4315, and 4317 will provide alternate transportation for Trains 711, 713, 715, and 717 between Bakersfield and Fresno, making an intermediate stop at Hanford.


Southbound - Friday, February 2 & Saturday, February 3


February 2

  • Train 718, which normally operates between Oakland Jack London Square and Bakersfield, will terminate at Fresno. Bus 4318 will provide alternate transportation for Train 718 between Fresno and Bakersfield.

Saturday, February 3

  • Trains 702, 710, and 712, which normally operate between Oakland Jack London Square and Bakersfield, will terminate at Fresno.
  • Buses 4302, 4310 and 4312 will provide alternate transportation for Trains 702, 710 and 712 between Fresno and Bakersfield.

Please note: No alternate service will be provided at Corcoran or Wasco.
