Global travel may be limited right now, but there are endless resources available online, where you can immerse yourself in information about various countries and cultures from around the world. With 7.8 billion people, thousands of religions, thousands of languages, 193 countries on seven continents, there is simply no limit to how much you can learn. In addition to online resources, sometimes a book can spark your imagination. Throughout the corridor, many local libraries are offering curbside pickup and returns. Here are a few:
Did you know there are more than 6,500 languages spoken around the world? This number is constantly in flux with new languages being discovered. Though only 40% of the languages are now endangered, with only 23 accounted languages for the world's populations. Asia is home to the most indigenous languages, followed by Africa.
