Modesto Symphony Presents Picnic at the Pops! All you need is love… and a train ticket
Join the Modesto Symphony and the Classical Mystery Tour for the 25th annual Picnic at the Pops on September 7th at E. & J. Gallo Winery Grounds. This year’s Picnic will have you grooving to your favorite Beatles hits and celebrating the 50th anniversary to the revolutionary album, Abbey Road! Book a ticket on Amtrak San Joaquins for the 21st century mystery tour waiting to take you away!
To engage full relaxation mode, take the Amtrak San Joaquins into Modesto and catch a Lyft or Uber over to the Winery Grounds.
Attendees are welcome to pack a picnic to eat on the premise or order a pre-arrange catered meal for the evening from one of the authorized caterers available on-site. Be sure to pack a blanket and sunscreen! The casual outdoor evening performance is a great opportunity to gather with friends, family, or enjoy a date night out on the town! The Tribute to the Beatles concert will be led by guest conductor, Martin Herman, a world-wide performer. Martin is known for his clarity, attention to detail, advocacy of new music by living composers, and is one of today’s versatile and promising conductors. Adults and children of all ages are welcome to attend and enjoy the performance. The sun is up, the sky is blue, it’s beautiful and so is the train ride down to E. & J. Gallo Winery.
