Plan a nature walk at Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline. The shoreline park offers visitors a variety of experiences and includes nature walks, sports fields, bocce ball courts, bike trails and ponds. The marsh is the quiet area of the park and home to a wide variety of animals and wildlife. Take dad fishing in Carquinez Straits where you can catch striped bass, sturgeon, shark, flounder, and catfish. A California state fishing license and stamps are required to fish from the shore and can be purchased at the marina bait shop! The Martinez Amtrak station drops visitors off right at the Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline entrance. After your nature walk, grab lunch or dinner at one of the small businesses located in historic main street. Several restaurants are offering outdoor dining and take away.
